Hang the traps vertically for more absorption at all frequencies. Typically you treat the corners of a room first as this is the most effective place to absorb the sound waves.

Really useful information, although I am not in the US I can still shop for the best plywood needed to complete my project. 👍🏼

I've had a mini wood gas stove with a fan and it works similarly. I've also made mini ones out of food cans, paint cans, and one out of a mini incinerator bin. A few things I've found - going too wide reduces the performance as the walls don't get hot enough, and the air out the holes doesn't have chance to wash over the top of the fire and form an incinerating barrier for smoke particles. It just rises out of the way. Not enough primary holes and it's hard to get the fire going, and you get a build up of charcoal that you have to wait for it to die down. If you add wood to it, the carbon dioxide smothers the combustible gases and it just smokes. It's useful though for making fuel for a barbecue after you've had your fire. Too many primary holes and the fire tends to soot a bit, as the gases from the combustibles are being released too quickly for the secondary air supply to consume them. Having the thing raised off the ground helps the convective airflow. Thermally insulating the outer walls helps keep the rising air hotter and better at burning smoke. The holy grail would be two separate variable speed air intakes for the bottom holes and the top holes. Wood needs moderate primary air and generous secondary air. The wetter the wood, the more primary air. Char needs lots of primary air, but secondary air is not hugely important. The easiest way to make a burn barrel like this is one upside down bigger barrel with a hole cut in the base on top of a smaller barrel. This ensures any air leaks go across the top of the fire, whereas this one can potentially leak out the sides. If your air jets are not reaching the fire, you can help them with an overhanging metal ring to trap the hot air. This also focuses more heat to the side walls by enclosing the fire slightly. I've never gone back to conventional fire pit type stuff after discovering these.

Most times I'm not doing anything that requires just the best lumber. I pick through it though and don't buy it if it's too wacky. Didn't realize till recently wide boards were better and could cut into 2X4's. Makes sense. A few other things you mentioned that will be helpful I hadn't thought about before. My RGB keyboard, Mouse, desktop fan, desktop RAM, Desktop Case etc are all smart RGB and are all expensive plus they also do have true white and yeah Idk what all colors are in them but haha expensive is the name of the RGB in my computer setup. Also the LED's are Micro LED's so they are way smaller and way tighter together with IP67 water proofing.

There's a craft room, a workshop, and then there's a workshop. You do the cutting of the plywood outside.

If you lay your osb horizontal, that is how I was taught to install it, you can use the premarked lines for locating your studs. They usually come with lines for 16 and 24 on center. Then you don't have to snap lines for your studs.

I just removed a pool and want to convert that area with grass and some pavers around a flower bed. I want to do something similar to this video. When putting down paver base, do you have to use the sand? Or is the sand just make it easier to level the pavers? Great video, thanks.
